The NAS LA-9637 Ultra Wide-Band In-Line Amplifier (50-3550Mhz), is for long cable runs between the satellite dish and the receiver, this amplifier will boost the signal a full 20dB. Compensates for line loss. (Note: unit is not waterproof and should be mounted in a waterproof enclosure if placed outdoors.)
