This Powermid IR emitter is specifically designed to work with the Powermid remote extender. This flexible system lets you control audio/video components that are tucked away inside a cabinet, hidden in a closet, or even housed in another room. If your A/V gear is housed in a cabinet that's too shallow to accommodate the receiver, you can use this compact IR blaster to send signals to those components. The extender is also handy if your TV and audio/video components are located in separate areas of the room.
