Burlington, Iowa - January 29, 2007 - RVers have a new resource on the road to help them quickly and easily find local off-air television programming no matter where they travel in the United States. Winegard® has issued a new Traveling Channel Guide, a complete listing of all analog and digital off-air television channels from coast to coast, including ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, FOX, CW and MyNetworkTV.
The guides are particularly handy in light of the fact that some satellite providers have had to discontinue offering distant local networks to RVers, mandated by the FCC effective December 1, 2006. As a result, many RVers will need to rely on their Winegard Sensar® off-air antenna to tune into local channels.
"We designed this easy-to-use reference guide to help our customers quickly find both analog and digital television stations no matter where they may be in the U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii," said Aaron Engberg, manager of Winegard's mobile products division.
