Designed to trap a narrow band of frequencies while passing the rest of the band with low insertion loss. These are generally used to eliminate interferences from adjacent channels and for stations that are close by that over drive your tuner. This also helps elminate ghosting or bleeding over on to the other adjacent channels. This device should be placed in-line before going to any amplfiers or pre-amps.
